Canine Physiotherapy with RVP

From agility superstars to the beloved family pet who is struggling with the stairs, our canine sessions focus on reducing pain and rebuilding strength in the comfort of your own home.

Common Conditions We Support:

  • Joint Health: such as Hip and Elbow Dysplasia, Osteoarthritis.
  • Post-Surgical: such as Cruciate ligament (TPLO/TTA) recovery and IVDD (spinal) rehabilitation.
  • Soft Tissue: Muscle strains and "lazy sits."
  • Ageing: Managing stiffness and muscle wastage in senior dogs.

How the Session Runs:

We use a consent-based approach. We never force a dog into a position they aren't comfortable with.

  • Vet Liaison: We handle the admin! We contact your vet for history and consent to ensure a safe, multi-disciplinary approach.

  • The "Sniff Test": We start with a chat while your dog gets used to our presence and enjoys a few treats.

  • Comprehensive Assessment: We observe your dog standing and in movement (walk/trot) to identify asymmetries. Then, we check soft tissues, joints, spine, and neurological responses.

  • Treatment: Think "Pet Pilates" combined with soothing manual work and advanced tech like LASER or pulsed electromagnetic field therapy.

  • The Plan: You’ll receive a tailored home exercise programme via Equicantis, featuring clear video instructions.

Frequently Asked Questions

Please reach us at rechargevetphysio@gmail.com if you cannot find an answer to your question.

Absolutely. Our Sniff Test and consent-based approach are designed specifically for dogs like yours. We never rush or force a dog; if they need to spend the first 20 minutes just watching us from across the room, that’s exactly what we’ll do.

Yes, it’s a legal requirement. We handle the paperwork for you! We’ll contact your vet to get their clinical consent and a brief history of your dog’s health to ensure our treatment is safe and effective.

Payment is due at the time of the session. We’ll provide a digital receipt, which you can send to your insurance company. Most policies cover "Complementary Treatment", but its good to double check with your provider. We don't charge for processing claims.

Dogs are often stressed at the vet. By coming to your home, we see your dog at their most comfortable, which allows for a more accurate assessment of how they move and behave daily.

Yes, absolutely. We believe that the work you do between our visits is where the real transformation happens.

To make this as easy as possible, we use Equicantis, a leading clinical management platform. Following our session, you will receive a digital link where you can access:

  • A Detailed Report: A summary of our findings, including muscle tension areas and movement assessments.
  • Step-by-Step Exercise Plans: No more trying to remember exactly where to place your hands!
  • High-Quality Videos & Diagrams: Clear visual demonstrations of each remedial exercise to ensure you are performing them safely and effectively.
